Your Work

  • Execute on a robust strategy to establish Metabiota as the chief architect and trusted developer of novel, comprehensive epidemic risk analytics and advisory services within the “InsurTech” and “GovTech” product categories
  • Create and drive unaided and aided awareness within C-Level reinsurance and insurance executives, chief risk officers (CROs), actuaries and analysts within their client portfolios for the InsurTech market as well as generate interest by federal and state officials into Metabiota’s GovTech offerings
  • Lead the development of content and materials as tactical BD/sales tools and develop KPIs for each tool and marketing campaign
  • Train BD/sales staff on tools to be used in executing the marketing strategy and measure effectiveness of materials
  • Build and maintain market landscape of epidemic risk analytic companies, share, product information, promotional updates, strategies and update commercial team management on quarterly basis

Additional responsibilities:

  • Create customer support materials and other assets
  • Develop digital strategy for email nurture series to conference/tradeshow prospects
  • Craft a strategy for social media engagement by Metabiota
  • Create and facilitate Metabiota’s participation in advisory boards, focus groups and other collaborations with KOLs
  • Manage trade show presence, material use and pathway to distribute leads
  • Database campaign management, including creation of campaigns and segments
  • Maintain marketing budget and coordinate monthly inputs/reporting with Accounting Dept


Reporting Relationship

The Marketing Manager will report to the Head of Corporate Marketing. The role will be responsible for creating, implementing and overseeing marketing programs that effectively promote Metabiota's product brand to drive preference to Metabiota and grow market share in the insurance technology and government technology product categories. In conjunction with the strategy set by the Head of Corporate Marketing, this position will champion all marketing initiatives directed to insurance and governmental audiences. This is an individual contributor within a matrixed structure. This position should anticipate 25% travel requirements with US domestic and global geographic responsibility.


Your Profile – Who You Are

  • BA/BS degree required with preference for Business and/or Marketing; MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of marketing experience with insurance or financial organizations focused on risk mitigation (prefer reinsurance, insurance); epidemiological health care focus also a plus for preferred background
  • Proven track record in marketing (tactical and strategic) and running large, complex projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas and influence executive leadership
  • Team player, able to work with cross-functional teams
  • High energy with the ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Must be “hands-on" with day-to-day activities
  • Strategic thinker capable of leading brainstorm sessions but detail-oriented enough to drive multiple assignments to completion under aggressive deadlines
  • Proficient in marketing plan development
  • Proven ability to take initiative, influence others, and achieve results in a matrixed organization
  • Ability to think, write and present in a logical, structured manner to all levels of internal and external business partners
